Rough Cost Estimate for the construction of Science Teaching Laboratory at Govt. High School, Township, Lahore.

This estimate amounting to Rs. 110, 66,000 has been framed in accordance with the demand of the Edu. Dept. as directed by the Zila Nazim, Lahore. Purpose is to comply with all formalities of new construction. Administrative approval  of funds is requested.

Ground floor plinth area                                    4875 sq ft

First floor plinth are                                           3750 sq ft

Second floor plinth area                                     2355 sq ft

Third floor stair mumty                                       260  sq ft

Provision of boundary wall                                 480  ft

Provision of gate and gate pillars                            4  jeb

Provision for face wall i.e. Gutka                       2900 sq ft

Provision of lab tables                                         768 sq ft

Provision of 6 electric panels of 100 amp

Provision of WAPDA WASA Sui Gas charges

Provision of external development charges.

The work shall be done according to the Building Dept.’s latest specifications and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer in charge.

The work shall be executed through approved govt. contractor after competitive tendering.

The plinth area rates have been adopted as circulated by the Chief Engineer, Punjab Buildings Dept. (North Zone) Lahore vide memo no. cw(w)csr-98/50-Dev/1252-55/D(2), dated 19-11-05 with permissible premium and market rates.

It will take about 12 months to complete the work observing all codal formalities.
